I nearly hyperventilated when I saw the photos from Vogue Paris 90th Anniversary eyes wide-shut themed party. I think Vogue Paris Editor-in-Chief, Carine Roitfeld, may have even given Marie Antoinette a run for her money when it comes to putting on a glamourous party. I absolutely adore costume & theatrical inspired fashion so then its only natural I'd be an enormous fan of masquerade balls - I had one for my 17th Birthday... although not quite as glamorous as this one. The outfits at the anniversary were absolutely amazing. Men in exquisite tuxedos with zoro-like masks and women in costumes which took of a life of their own. Sheer dresses, revealing sleek black lingerie, seemed to be a favourite. Even Carine Roitfeld herself took on this trend at the mature age of 56! I wouldn't dare even at my age of 22. Natalia Nodianova left very little to the imagination with her very sheer gown and tiny lingerie ensemble. The cover of the 90th edition issue and editorial titled "Bal Masque" were equally as fabulous as the party.
That lace detailing! (Squeal in delight)
