Style Muse: Julia

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld in Jil Sander's JIL Perfume campaign

Carine Roitfeld's (Vogue Paris Editor) daughter, Julia, has been my favourite style muse for a while now. One my earliest posts on hôtel de mode was about her. She has such a natural beauty about her and seems to be rather down to earth, despite her mother being perhaps one of the most influential figures in the fashion world. Julia is featured in the August edition of Vogue Australia in an article about her being the face of the new JIL scent by Jil Sander. In the article she is asked about her personal style, replying that she likes to "spice up classics with a PVC mini-skirt or super-high acrylic platform shoes from stripper stores." She says her "style is quite classic, and bourgeois yet always feminine and sexy with a touch of rock." I always find her outfits very inspiring. She wears simple, yet dramatic pieces, and always appears effortlessly fashionable.
